• Abstract

Two learning disorders which impact students' reading and writing skills and frequently result in serious academic challenges are dyslexia and dysgraphia. Students with dyslexia and dysgraphia encounter tougher challenges in high school, such as the requirement to understand increasingly complex texts and develop more complex writing abilities that are necessary for their future academic success. In order to help high school students overcome these learning challenges, this study intends to investigate the use of artificial intelligence (AI)-based applications as a technological innovation. This study illustrates how AI applications affect students' literacy abilities through a review of the literature and an analysis of AI technologies, including voice recognition, text-to-speech tools, and handwriting analysis software. The findings reveales that AI (Artificial Intelligence) enhance reading comprehension, writing accuracy, and learning motivation among students with dyslexia and dysgraphia. Artificial intelligence (AI) applications provide a personalized, interactive, and adaptive learning experience that enables students to more autonomously and self-assuredly overcome learning obstacles. A reference for educators and educational technology developers in implementing more inclusive and effective solutions to support students with special needs at the high school level.
