Stunting is one of the major nutritional problems of global concern. Research related to stunting has increased significantly since 2010-2023, dominated by the medical field, which emphasizes stunting as a major health problem. Most publications are in the form of scientific journal articles, reflecting comprehensive discussions among academics. Strong international collaboration, especially involving Indonesia, the United States, and India, shows that stunting is recognized as a global issue that requires cross-country efforts. This research analyzes trends in studies regarding the relationship between water, sanitation, and stunting in children under five through bibliometric analysis. Data were taken from the Scopus database for publications 2010-2023 and analyzed using VOSViewer. The results show the dominance of the medical field (34.6%), followed by nursing and environmental sciences. The majority of publications are research articles (77.2%). The United States leads the number of publications, with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health the most prolific institution. The publication trend increased significantly from 2010 to 2020, reaching a peak in 2020 with 23 publications. Analysis of international collaboration shows strong cooperation, especially with the United States and the United Kingdom. Keyword co-occurrence analysis identified three main clusters: growth disorders, infant, preschool child, stunting, child, prevalance, sanitation, human, and hygiene. In conclusion, research on the relationship between water, sanitation, and stunting in children under five is developing rapidly and requires a multidisciplinary approach. Further research is needed to variety effective interventions to overcome stunting, especially in developing countries. These findings provide a comprehensive picture of the research landscape and can help plan future research and develop effective policies regarding stunting.
