• Abstract

Technology has become integral to modern healthcare, revolutionizing hospital operations and patient care delivery. This abstract provides an overview of the transformative role of technology in these domains. Electronic health records (EHRs) streamline the management of patient information, offering healthcare providers comprehensive and accessible data that enhance decision-making and care coordination across departments and settings. Telemedicine extends the reach of healthcare services beyond traditional clinical environments, enabling remote consultations, monitoring chronic conditions, and accessing specialized care for patients in remote or underserved areas. This capability not only improves patient convenience but also supports continuity of care and reduces healthcare disparities. Artificial intelligence (AI) applications in healthcare are increasingly utilized for clinical decision support, leveraging machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets and assisting in diagnostics, treatment planning, and predictive analytics. AI enhances precision and efficiency in medical practices, facilitating personalized treatment approaches on the basis of individual patient data. Robotic technologies in surgery have significantly advanced surgical precision, offering surgeons greater control and accuracy in complex procedures. Robotics minimize invasiveness, reduce recovery times, and increase patient safety, thereby improving surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Despite these technological advancements, challenges such as data privacy concerns, interoperability issues between different systems, and the need for ongoing training of healthcare staff remain significant. Addressing these challenges is crucial to fully harnessing the potential of technology to optimize healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes.
